RECONSTRUCTED LOCAL CONTRACTS

Assets that keep
their meaning.

Typography, glyphs, imagery and media with explicit states, readable alternatives and retrievable sources. These are local reference contracts; original product observations remain separate.

FIVE DELIVERED FAMILIES

Scripts with an explicit fallback.

The five observed families retain their public font subsets. Two additional OFL families provide explicit Japanese/Chinese and Devanagari sample fallbacks in this guide. Arabic, Hebrew and emoji use the tested system fallback. Each script keeps a plain-language equivalent when fonts fail. The missing-character sentinel deliberately has no supported glyph.

Type roles with exact local line boxes.

Role size and meaning are separate. Fourteen guide roles use explicit local line heights where the source computes normal. Three supplementary roles reproduce measured public JetBrains Mono, Instrument Serif and VT323 consumers with their source colors on a dark specimen surface. Long text remains visible; no essential instruction is truncated.

Numbers, identifiers and direction

Prices keep currency and period together. Counts use tabular numerals. Dates use a readable label plus a machine value; identifiers remain selectable, and shortcut symbols have a named action.

A shape is not an accessible name.

All 777 distinct renderable geometries have local state rules. Brand and illustrative shapes keep their identity and source paint; their visible label carries meaning. Action glyphs inherit control ink. Select a state to inspect the shared contract.

Every preview uses a 16px source view box in a 44px target with an 8px label gap. Authored paths and overflow are preserved. Brand art is never recolored into a generic action. Missing imports become a labelled text fallback; ambiguous aliases return all matching names.

3,237 observed uses, explicit rules.

Repeated occurrences share a tested rule only when their glyph, owner and meaning match. Original accessible names and unobserved original states are not inferred from the local fixture.

Keep the subject and the proportions.

Each of the 731 source artworks has a canonical URL, retained rights statement and replacement policy. Screenshots use contain; meaningful UI and identity are never cropped, stretched, tinted or relabelled. Exact source occurrences retain their original crop rules separately.

Replacement fields

A replacement must name the same object and purpose, credit its actual creator, establish rights, preserve meaningful framing and provide a new hash. The visible caption and canonical source remain available during loading, failure and reduced-data mode. No uncredited creator is invented for inherited artwork.

The task remains readable.

Fifteen silent source clips have timed descriptions of their visible sequence, based on retained half-second samples and focused frames around changes. Approximate phase times and review limits stay visible. Reading or advancing a description never loads the original clip or performs its native actions.

Captions, description and motion

Every local step is visible in the ordered list and announced when it becomes current. No sound, timing or animation carries essential information. The clips have no audio track or fully decoded digital silence, so speech captions are inapplicable. The original visual descriptions are sampled, not a claim to reproduce every frame or incidental label. Original videos remain outside this page. The optional keyboard sample uses native controls and a visible sound description.

What this evidence establishes.

The browser probes exercise these authored local contracts, all supplied glyph geometries, font resources and asset alternatives. They do not establish private app runtime behaviour, every-frame source-video equivalence, human assistive-technology sessions, disabled-user studies, or font metrics in Safari, Firefox, macOS or Windows.

The full research package contains the per-source contract, exact semantic joins, file hashes, source comparisons and executed probe reports. Open the evidence guide.

About this specimen

This is a local reconstruction of a public Raycast pattern. It demonstrates the interface contract; real accounts, installs and payments remain on the official product.
